• I bought these tiles xxx years ago, will you still be able to get them?
  The short answer to this often asked question will probably be "no", but this is not always the case. If it's possible, take a tile to your nearest branch of Ceramic Collections and ask the staff to have a look for you. If we can't find the tile for you, we'll try our best to find something very similar!
• What kind of adhesive will I need to fix my tiles?
  For fixing most wall tiles, a ready-mixed adhesive is usually required. If the tiles are for a bathroom, then we would recommend a waterproof type adhesive, and in the kitchen a standard adhesive. The adhesive required for floor tiles is a little bit more complicated! To tile onto concrete.then you need a non-flexible powdered adhesive. Tiling onto plywood requires a more flexible adhesive, such as GRANFIX FASTSET FLEXIBLE. Tiling onto other substrates such as asphalt or floorboards reuires more specialist adhesives. We recommend adhesive on a case by case basis, so if you don't know which adhesive is required for your job, give us a call and our staff will give you the information you require!
• Do you have a "supply-and-fit" service?
  Unfortunately we're unable to offer this service at a competative price, but each of our showrooms has a list of trusted tilers we're happy to recommend.
• What's the advantage of a tiled floor over a carpet, or vinyl covering?
  Porcelain and ceramic tiles are the most versatile and easily maintained surface you could imagine. Hard wearing and strong, they seldom mark, most require no special maintenance, and they come in a huge range of sizes, finishes, and styles.
• How long will it take to get my tiles?
  At Ceramic Collections we carry massive quantities of our stock tiles, so that you can collect tiles on the same day as ordering. Special order tiles are usually delivered to our warehouse within a week, but more bespoke handmade tiles can take up to a month. We carry a full range of adhesives,grouts and tools in each of our showrooms, so we can provide you with everything you'll need to complete that tile project!
